bags are packed and we are off...
no, not really. this time we are taking a "staycation". with all monies being put aside for our "big dream" there will be no sand beneath our toes this time. although he has said that he will spend five minutes a day at the tanning salon and wants to come home to an open bar and buffet. huh?
that's okay. you make the most out of what you have and we have a pretty cool city. we have done some planning. our fun filled week will include "no tv" and "one hour of computer per day" and "eat all meals at the kitchen table". oh yeah by weeks end we should be three sheets to the wind and exhausted with staring lovingly at each other.
we are planning on checking out our regular hot spots, whyte avenue, bookstores, coffee shops and with our book of 25 we might test out some new eats.
the muttart conservatory has been recently renovated and the shops on 112 avenue are fun to browse through.
and just for shits and giggles why not toss in a mammogram and pelvic ultrasound? oh how about a CT scan? yes, despite our effort to take a break we still have reality slamming us in the face at every turn.
that's okay...margaritas are whirling in the blender as we speak. cheers!
